Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 through 2019she was the artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. As the artistic director of SSC she served as SSC's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music designer. Although she usually led from within the acting ensemble at the end of her time, she made her debut as a director (and Lighting Designer) for the SSC's King Lear.
